Part 1- Basics in Supervision: Assessment, Evaluation, and Remediation

Description of program:

Curriculum includes initial, formative and summative assessment of supervisee knowledge, skills and self-awareness; components of supervisee evaluation and performance appraisal, supervisory procedures, monitoring of supervisee performance, feedback mechanisms, evaluation processes, identification and remediation of problematic supervisee.

Workshop objectives:

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will:

1. Gain knowledge regarding initial, formative, and summative assessment of supervisee knowledge, skills, and self-awareness
2. Be informed on supervisory procedures, monitoring of supervisee performance
3. Understand components of supervisee evaluation and performance appraisal
4. Improve skills of providing feedback and evaluation
5. Learn about the identification and remediation of the problematic supervisee
